As our building will be completely renovated, the library has to find new premises by 2026. We are looking for at least 80m2 of office space at a modest rent. Easter Closure
The library will close for the Easter Holidays on Saturday April 1st at 13.00 and reopen on Wednesday April 12th at 9.30. Happy Easter to all from the library team!
Story Hour at the Library
Summer Holidays
The English Library will stay open all summer. The newest beach reads and thrillers and our large children’s section will keep the whole family entertained. Please note our opening hours.
Covid Restrictions
As the Federal Council has decided to lift most Covid restrictions, you will no longer need a certificate to come to the library and wearing a mask is not mandatory any more.

The library will close for the Holidays on Wednesday December 22nd 2021 at 11.30 and reopen on Monday January 3rd 2022 at 9.30. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Important COVID update

No Summer Vacation for Us!
If once again you plan to spend your vacation on the sun lounger at home, we are going to be open at our normal hours all summer. We have plenty of new “beach reads”, literary fiction, non fiction and of course books to keep your children occupied!
